Austin Partners in Education (APIE) is a 501(c)(3) that connects the community and classrooms in Austin, Texas to promote academic excellence and personal success for all students. APIE leverages community resources and talent to provide innovative, scalable, and results-driven programs in the Austin Independent School District.
Our flagship study group programs bring volunteers into the classroom during the school day to promote student engagement and achievement and support teachers in reaching their own instructional goals. The initial focus of these programs is to support Title I schools and students from under-resourced communities. As support for these programs increases, we are able to serve additional schools and communities.
Additionally, APIE supports schools in connecting donors, partners, and general volunteers in the schools and in recognizing faculty and staff. Through our Adopt-a-School program, we act as a point of contact for donors and volunteers, giving them immediate visibility to the strongest opportunities and best programs in education.
Everyone benefits when schools and communities work together so we encourage you to consider becoming a partner, volunteer, or donor through Austin Partners in Education!
Our offices are located downtown in the Austin Centre Building at 701 Brazos Street, Suite 480 in space graciously donated by T. Stacy & Associates.
