Classroom Coaching:
The Successful Volunteer Model for Large Scale Student Success

Classroom Coaching is a structured and fun way to ensure that all students succeed academically. Each Classroom Coach serves as both mentor and tutor to a small group of students. You can have a significant impact with just an hour a week!

 

  • Teams of volunteers are in a 50 minute class once a week during the school day.

  • Each volunteer works with the same small group of 3-4 students each week.

  • Every student in the room is in a small group led by a volunteer.

  • The teacher is always in the classroom to provide support.
